School-managed authentication
Ripplet uses secure, school-managed single sign-on.
- Google Workspace or Microsoft sign-in
- Access restricted to approved school domains
- No shared passwords; authentication handled by the provider
Private, dedicated school instances
Each licensed school receives its own dedicated instance of the app, with access limited to approved accounts.
- Per-school isolation
- Role-based permissions (Teacher/Admin/Student)

In-app privacy controls
Teachers can control visibility within classroom tools based on instructional goals and sensitivity of student content.
- Video Discussions: private posts and post-reveal pacing options
- Helplist: other students see anonymized entries; details are private to staff + request owner
- Reflection: student submissions are preserved and teacher view is read-only
